SharePoint Online 2013 - Nintex Workflow App - A bit disappointing ~ Blog moved to www.jasperoosterveld.com

I am a bit disappointed in the beta Nintex Workflow app for SharePoint Online 2013. The main reason?The absence of the following feature:

Moving items to another site or site collection

Don't get met wrong, I love Nintex Workflow! It's by far my favorite 3rd party application for SharePoint. The visual designer is easy to use, the available actions to created advanced workflows and the awesome lazy approval feature. The SharePoint out-of-the-box workflows and SharePoint Designer are easy to use and get you pretty far but have one major limitation:

Moving items to another site or site collection

This is solved with Nintex Workflow. It is a shame this feature is missing in the new app. Hopefully in a future release?

This is new to SharePoint 2013 and provide you with the option to create more advanced workflows! Nice :)

The app is still a great asset because of the user friendly visual designer but I heard SharePoint Designer 2013 also has one. I have not been able to work with it yet but for Nintex to be a bigger asset, the moving item feature needs to be there. I am hopeful the final release will contain the feature.
