After updating to Windows 8.1 you automatically get Internet Explorer 11. Sounds nice right? Its not!
The new Explorer causes serious issues with SharePoint (Online) 2013:
- Calendar web part is extremely corrupted
- You will click Settings > Edit Page, Pages will not enter edit mode.
- Web Part Properties cannot be modified.
Thanks to Bojan Buhac I found the workaround to fix these issues:
- Click Compatibility View Settings in Settings
- Click Add to add the current SharePoint site to your list.
Thanks dude! This is very embarrassing for Microsoft and a massive #FAIL!
