SharePoint 2010 - My Site link missing

Today I was working on a SharePoint Intranet project for one of our customers. Our SharePoint Infrastructure Specialist, Donny van Huizen (@ShareTheDon) told me that the My Site was installed and ready to use. I clicked on my username and saw that the My Site links were missing!
